Golfing sisters both win in tourney

Elaine Grant, 7 years old, shot a 44 on 9 holes at the Fondulac Just for Kids Golf Tournament in East Peoria on Saturday, July 30th. She won first place in the Girls 6-7 division on a scorecard tie breaker.
Her sister, Morgan Grant, 5 years old, shot a 38 on 5 holes. She came in first in the Girls 4-5 division.
Both girls posted their best tournament scores of the summer.
Elaine has played in two international tournaments this summer, the Pepsi Little Peoples Golf Tournament in Quincy, IL and the Country Youth Classic in Bloomington, IL. She placed first in the Country Youth Classic, shooting a 95 for 18 holes over two days, edging out Kim Turgut of Johannesburg, South Africa, who shot 97.
